TICKET INFORMATION
MUSIC OF THE CELTIC TRADITION

A program of Celtic/Irish music with:
Paul Elliott, violin
Steve Rice, keys
Paul Englesberg, whistles, concertina & flute;
Randy Mohr, hurdy-gurdy & oud
Geof Morgan, guitar

Entering its 20th year, the 85-voice Kulshan Chorus stages a colorful mid-winter concert, Music of the Celtic Tradition.

Local musicians Paul Englesberg (flute, concertina & whistles), Randy Mohr (hurdy-gurdy) and Geoff Morgan (guitar), with Seattle musicians Paul Elliott (violin) and Steve Rice (keyboards) join the chorus for ballads, jigs, and reels. Among them: Rattlin’ Roarin Willie, set to the words of Scottish poet Robert Burns, English Wassailing songs including: The Derby Ram, and – from the Irish Tradition – Wren in the Furze, Colcannon and Golden Apples of the Sun.

Variety & musical power characterize this concert. Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled evening with mid-winter warmth. We hope you can join us Dec. 8th.
