The Kulshan Chorus was formed in 1988 as a cross-cultural community chorus to perform uplifting, stimulating, and fun concerts for a wide audience. Drawing upon the musical traditions of America and the world, the Chorus now attracts hundreds to its concerts which exalt our common humanity.

Tom Hunter, who has made numerous recordings, is perhaps best known locally for his work in the schools and for his annual Christmas Eve concerts at the Mount Baker Theatre. He has also traveled throughout the country, helping schools incorporate music into their core curriculums.

Steve Satushek is a local photographer whose work is seen in magazines, advertisements, brochures and publications throughout the country. His pictures will be presented in two slide shows that complement the music and stories.

"We are hosting this unique event to honor the spirit of philanthropy and to let people feel the joy of giving in a new way," says Don Drake, President of WCF. "Joining with one another to appreciate all those individual and collective gifts of time and money is a way to celebrate our great community. Everybody will find this to be a fun, energizing and heartwarming evening for the whole family." ;
